Saturday, September 1 sees Rye Town FC start the new 18/19 season with an away tie versus Bexhill Town off Bexhill Road, kick-off 3pm.
So, what’s been happening down at The Salts since the close of season?
Well, there have been 6 new players that have joined the club and have signed on the dotted line, Tom Barlow, John Booth, James Colston, Joe Sherwood, Connor Buss and Sean Parker-Harding are the new faces.
Six pre-season friendlies were played which saw Town win 2, lose 2 and draw 2.
