Rye Harvest Hoedown

The Rye Harvest Hoedown is back.

After the fantastic response to last year’s barn dance, we’re delighted to announce that the Hoedown returns – this time stepping out as a standalone event, with more room to do-si-do, promenade and sashay your way through the night!

Saturday 12th September 2026

7PM – 11PM

Rye Community Centre

There’ll be a BBQ sizzling out front, pizza ovens roaring, and a bar stocked with local pours and a signature cocktail to put a pep in your step.

And as for the band, you are in for a treat! Cut A Shine are the UK’s premier Ceilidh & Hoedown band, and their high-energy music and friendly calling keep the evening accessible to beginners and thoroughly entertain the more experienced.

Dressing up is warmly encouraged, although never compulsory, but there may be a little recognition for the most enthusiastic outfits…

Last year’s Hoedown was enormously popular, so early booking is strongly recommended.

This year, you’ll be supporting Rye Foodbank, the official charity partner of the Rye Harvest Hoedown. Outside the venue, the fun will begin with our Human Fruit Machine, where 100% of the proceeds will support Rye Foodbank, helping local people facing hardship.
