Pottery, Paper & Print

Come to Rye Castle Museum and create some fabulous gel plate prints using the museum’s wonderful pottery collection as your inspiration. This workshop is a carbon copy of a workshop in August – it was so much fun we decided to do it all over again! Participants created some truly fabulous prints, and we can’t wait to see what the next set of attendees produce.

Museum staff will be treating us to a behind-the-scenes tour where we can get close to the collection and really get inspired! You’ll then create up to four stencils to use on the gel plate during the printing part of this workshop. It’ll be up to you to decide on whether to stick to traditional colours and outlines or go a bit wild in your interpretation – there will be no rules (and no limit on the amount of prints produced in the time given)!
