Rye Crib League will resume after the festive break with the Rye Club top of the A league after winning five of the seven matches they played. In joint second place are the Pipemakers Arms and the Bedford Arms from Rye. The Bedford, who have not lost a match, have two matches in hand over Rye Club and the Pipemakers.

The League is played on Tuesday evenings in the winter. There are two divisions A and B, with eight teams in each. The teams play four singles games and two pairs in each match. Each game consists of three legs with 18 points to be scored in match.

New to the league this year is the Waterworks Micro Pub who are joint bottom of the eight-team league along with Tenterden Club A, both teams being without a match win.

In the B league Tenterden Club B head the league with nine points followed by the Inkerman Arms, Rye Harbour and White Hart Newenden on eight points each.
