JUNIOR TENNIS TOURNAMENT
We’re thrilled to invite all children and teens to join us for three days of tennis fun at Rye Lawn Tennis Club! Open to players aged 8 to 18 (as of 1st September 2026), the tournament welcomes both members and non-members for a fantastic experience on our world-class grass courts.
The tournament includes the following categories:
- Girls/Boys Singles – 5th August
- Girls/Boys Doubles – 6th August
- Mixed Doubles – 7th August
The Rye grass courts are among the best outside of Wimbledon, so this is an amazing opportunity for young players to compete and enjoy playing on them. The event is non-profit and run by dedicated volunteers to ensure a great experience for all.
We’re also hosting a family BBQ at the club on Thursday evening after play wraps up. We’d love for you to join us for some delicious food and a chance to relax and socialise.

General Tournament Information
- All entrants must be between 8 and 18 on September 1st 2026
- All entries are on a first come first served basis
- Entries close on Friday July 24th 2026.
- Please can players arrive by 9.30am for registration and to ensure a prompt start
- As the children will be playing mostly on the grass please can they wear predominantly white clothing.
- Parking is in the field next to the club (what3words: gripes.birthing.mimic).
- Please note that all children need to be supervised at all times by an adult – this is not the responsibility of Rye Lawn Tennis Club.
- The Club and the organisers are not responsible for children left unaccompanied.
- Whilst we endeavour to safeguard players’ welfare, the Club will not accept responsibility for any accidents.
- We regret that refunds cannot be made after the closing date nor in the event of cancellation due to adverse weather conditions.
- Low compression balls will be used when age appropriate and on the hard courts only
