Music in Time of War – The Revolutionary Drawing Room

In the 1800s, while the Cinque Ports prepared for a cross-channel invasion by the French, the salons of Vienna were hosting some of the greatest chamber music of all time.
The Revolutionary Drawing Room specialises in the music of the late classical and early romantic periods when Europe was in the throes of revolution and conflict.
