Rye Arts Festival The Dam Busters
This classic film, introduced by a WWII bomber veteran, tells the heroic story of how the RAF attacked German dams in WWII using an ingenious technique invented by Barnes Wallis (Michael Redgrave).
We are showing this film prior to the talk by Max Hastings Chastise: The Dam Busters Story, 1943 which will give a new take on the preparations, raid and aftermath.
