Rye Christmas Festival – Lanterns

Come and see beautiful, illuminated lanterns in the Rye Christmas Festival’s procession. Co funded by Magnox Socio Economic Programme and the schools, Radiator Arts held workshops in four local schools teaching the children how to make complex shapes with willow, glue and tissue paper. We had a lot of sticky fun and completed the project with over 60 lanterns. The children made Snowflakes, Log Fires, Candy Canes and Christmas Puddings. All will spread light, magic and festive cheer in Saturday’s procession.
