The setting sun provides the perfect backdrop

Some 300 intrepid guests made their way to Camber Castle by bike, foot and car for a very special outdoor film night under the stars on Sunday September 16. It was a truly magical evening. Blessed by warm weather, people picnicked, took tours of Camber Castle with Nature Reserve manager Barry Yates or enjoyed the outstanding setting.

As the sun set, the show started and the soundtrack from the film, The Greatest Showman filled the air, thanks to The Extraordinary Travelling Film Show.

The audience settles down to watch

Delicious food from The White House, Rye, and local cider from Peasmarsh, Starvecrow Cyder, was served and the Appeal T-shirts, ‘Love A Plover’ and Friends of Rye Harbour’s new merchandise were on sale (both of which can be found at port cabins at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve).

The event was organised to raise money for Rye Harbour Discovery Centre and to find out more about the project & donate online please visit Sussex Wildlife Trust website
