The 20th Annual Sponsored Walk, organised by the Rye & Winchelsea Rotary Club will soon be upon us. The event will take place on Sunday May 20 starting from 9am at the Rye Club, Market Street.
Entry forms are available from Phillips & Stubbs, 47 Cinque Ports Street, or on the day between 9 and 10am.
The walk, with a choice of five or 10 miles is mostly off road over unspoiled farmland with the beauty of spring and splendid views. The five mile walk returns under Cadborough Cliff using the 1066 Country Walk. The 10 mile version returns via Peasmarsh where refreshments and toilets are available in the church and takes the High Weald Landscape Trail back to Rye.
Weather permitting, we’re hoping for an excellent turn out to help us raise monies for local youth organisations.
