Local singing group Ryesingers spent a long and productive day in the beautiful Guestling St Laurence Church in Guestling, recording our forthcoming CD on April 1. The church is a grade 1 listed building and ancient parish. The acoustics were wonderful which was borne out listening to the women’s songs before the tenors and basses joined them for the rest of the music.
This was a professionally and beautifully-recorded session and should be worth a place in any music-lover’s collection. The CD will be available at Ryesingers’ next concert on July 8. Watch this space for details of the location.
