There is a new initiative for children in the area which I think sounds great fun for them to join. Marian Ham, a former head teacher at Seddlescombe Primary noticed how music is very beneficial for building confidence in children. She is starting the Rye Area Children’s Community Choir (RACCC) after having retired in 2016. Marian wants the choir to be inclusive so does not believe in auditions. She lives in Playden and the choir will take place in Peasmarsh Memorial Hall. It begins February 23, between 3:50pm and 4:50 pm.
