If you want to see Paul Brandon Hunter’s work then pop into the Red Door, Alchemist Gallery in Cinque Ports Street where he will be until Monday, December 6, 10am to 5pm every day. Paul lives in Tenterden but visits Rye most weeks and he is drawn by the combination of shapes and colours the town has to offer. He captures the town and boats with great detail and his townscapes of Rye and Brixham transport you there. They are colourful and vibrant.

Paul went to school in Wallington and furthered his education at Canterbury College of Art. He works mainly in oils and acrylics. He is happy to chat about his work and has had a successful week so far at the gallery.

Red Door is an exciting concept of pop-up exhibition space which opened in November 2018 in the historic town of Rye.  Red Door runs diverse and enticing exhibitions that change every two weeks. The gallery hosts a wonderful variety of talented artists, sculptors, ceramicists and jewellery designers, as well as creatively themed pop-up shops.
