  1. I tried to go on one of the tours but they were booked out. Thanks to this article I had a second chance and I was lucky enough to go today.

I would strongly recommend a visit to anyone. Alex MacArthur has achieved something extraordinary. It is hard to describe the interior, my friend and I had our mouths open in wonder for most of our tour. The scale, the variety, the beauty of the contents and the restoration work are incredible.

This building’s latest incarnation under Alex is a new and worthy chapter in its fascinating history.
