A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Bowler Crab are back for our first ‘full season’ in almost three years! By popular demand, we are kicking off with A Midsummer Night’s Dream this spring! This show will be Stephen John’s fourth version of the play, having directed ‘The Dream’ in 2013, 2017 and 2019. Taking experiences and styles from all three past productions, this show blends the three into an energetic romp through Shakespeare’s most popular comedy.

This comedy contains a world of magic, music and mayhem. Find yourself among trick-some fairies, enchanted lovers and ass-headed ‘rude mechanicals’ as Shakespeare’s magical romantic comedy is performed in beautiful rhyming verse. A comic fairy tale with song, dance and humour galore.
