Assemble: Abstraction

Assemble, our regular creative workshop, is a time for you to come & explore the medium of collage.

Join us after hours at Ground Up Coffee Shop in Rye for an evening of cutting & sticking. You’ll be using shapes, colours, forms and gestural marks to create your collages in this evening session of Assemble. Circular cutters, guillotines, craft knives and scissors will be available for you to come and make your marks with all sorts of paper. Participants are also encouraged to bring along any textural / coloured papers that they’d like to incorporate into their creations.

Shelley, from Ways of Seeing, will be on hand to share her knowledge and offer guidance along the way. You’ll be able to purchase an array of hot & cold soft drinks as well as delicious treats from the lovely Esther at Ground Up at the beginning of the session.
