Baroque on a roll!
Baroque is a cultural movement, starting around 1600 until the 1750s. It is typified by bold, curving forms, elaborate ornamentation, in architecture, painting, sculpture, music, dance, poetry, and other art of that time.
Tony Rawlins, an accredited Arts Society speaker, will talk about how classical music has recently grown in popularity and how it has enhanced the drama / tension /romance / and memorability of many feature films and TV commercials. Tony will also explore how classical music, melodies and chords have been an inspiration for a huge number of popular songs.
