Brede Flower Festival

Open 10-5 on Saturday & Monday. 11 to 5 on Sunday

We’re delighted to confirm that the Flower Festival will take place on Saturday 28th, Sunday 29th and Monday 30th August of the August Bank holiday at St. George’s Church.

Open on Saturday from 10 to 5, Sunday from 11 to 5 and on Monday from 10 to 5 there will be some 30 displays and arrangements, a Granny’s Attic, Book, Plant and Produce stalls and refreshments. There will also be a daily Tombola stall.  Sadly trips up the Tower will not be possible this year.

So as to avoid congestion the arrangement for this year’s stalls will be spread over several venues and a ‘one way’ system will operate in St. George’s Church.

Entry to the Flower Festival will be through the South door and exit through the north door.

Within St. George’s itself the central aisle will be blocked off and the recommended flow will be shown with arrows.

Granny’s Attic will be in the car park opposite the Church room and the Book stall will be in the Church room.  There will also be a Plant and Produce stall outside the north door.  Refreshments (including lunches and teas) will be available in the Scout Hut in Stubb Lane.

Parking.  The main parking area will be the first field on the right down Stubb Lane with parking in front of the church being kept for Blue Badge holders.  Drop-off and Pick-up will be on the Green opposite the Red Lion.

Entrance and parking are free but donations will be very welcome!
