Cash for Coronets: an architectural legacy

Mark Meredith’s talk is about American heiresses who exchanged their dollars for European titles. Those dollars offered an opportunity to aristocrats to restore their ancestral homes including their furniture, pictures and objet d’art. Some of those homes are now open to the public to view e.g Blenheim Palace.
