Hamlet, Prince of Denmark by William Shakespeare

Join us in the intimate setting of the Alard Chantry of Winchelsea Church for this searing tragedy of young student Hamlet who is tormented by his father’s death. The play subsequently confronts each of us with the mirror of our own mortality in an imperfect world.

This thrilling production will take place in the week of Shakespeare’s 410th anniversary, and in the town where the most acclaimed actress of the 19th century, Ellen Terry, rehearsed Lady Macbeth and where John Everett Millais painted ‘Ophelia’ the most famous of all Shakespeare paintings.
