It’s Our Free ‘Open Day’ on Sunday 27th April …

As we head into a new season, Rye Lawn Bowls Club is soon to hold its Annual Open Day – and you are invited.

This is your opportunity to ‘give it a try’, be it your first time on the green, maybe new to Rye, or just want to start playing again.  Come along at 2.00pm, wear flat shoes (casual dress) and we’ll provide the rest.

You may be aware, that Rother Council removed all funding and support for this long established local club, but the members have ‘stepped up’ and are undertaking self-management of the clubhouse and green, on The Salts.

Last year’s Open Day attracted a lot of interest.  In addition to many who were keen to play, we signed up quite a few social supporters, all of whom have got us this far.

At the Open Day, current members will be present to ‘show you the ropes’, and to explain the changes to the club, since we ‘took over’ management.  We still need more new members, both playing and social supporters, so please come and join us.
