Having skippered her first Trans-Atlantic race at just 20, Nikki Henderson is one of the UK’s leading young sailors. Along with many other accolades, Nikki made history when at 24 she was the youngest ever skipper to compete in the 2018 Clipper Round the World Yacht Race. By finishing in second place to Australian Wendy Tuck, she secured an all-female one-two, a feat recognised by her being jointly awarded with Tracy Edwards the 2018 YJA Yachtsman of the Year.

And you may have read that she sailed Greta Thunberg back from the US the year after.
