Beckley Rangers were away this week in their Crowborough and District under 18s League A Division football match. Rangers bounced back from their 2-0 Cup semi-final defeat against Tonbridge Foresters, with a good away display on a difficult pitch against Tonbridge Junior Gunners. Once Beckley settled into the game, their first goal came from Josh Green with an angled low shot. Half time came and the Rangers manager and team chatted about what they could do to help finish some of the chances they were creating.

The second half started and it didn’t take long for Sam Garner to find the net. Josh Green then added the 3rd goal before Tonbridge pulled one back making it 3-1. Rangers then lost Charlie Newman due to a second yellow card, but that didn’t stop Beckley as Sam Garner scored his second making it 4-1 to Rangers. It just left Lewis Carpenter to round off the win with a deserved goal for Beckley making the final score 5-1.

The Lankelma and McCartney Productions Ltd Man of Match was shared between Jordan Swain and Josh Zon. Next week Beckley Rangers are at home in the reverse fixture.
