The veterans side will kick it off on Wednesday, 19 August with a home game against Little Common in the Hastings F.A. Veterans Cup with matches also on the following four Wednesday evenings. The team will be out to defend their title having won the trophy last season although the competition is being run on a different basis this year. Six teams have entered with each playing each other once and the top two sides then contesting the final. Last season the tournament was a league format with matches played on Sundays throughout the year.

The 1st team will be playing in Division Two of the East Sussex League having been relegated from Division One last season and begin their fixtures on Saturday, 5  September. They will be looking for a more successful campaign this year again under the management of Martin Tytherleigh and Michael Beaumont.

The 2nd team start a week later in Division Five and the young side will be looking to continue the progress and improvement made during last season. Paul Barnett, having done such a good job last year, will once more be managing the team.

Off the field, along with the other local sports clubs, it is hoped the project to provide a much needed new community facility in the village which will include new changing rooms will continue to make progress.
