Junior and adult cricket nets start soon

Preparations for the 2024 cricket season gets underway very shortly. Adult nets start on Sunday February 25 from 4:00 – 5:30pm at Claremont Prep School where there will be 4 lanes available. The Under 16 team members will be participating in these nets. We extend an open invitation to new players to join us at these nets.

The details of the junior nets are:

Spring cricket sessions at Rye Sports Centre

Starting Wednesday March 6 for 8 Weeks:

Softball
6.00 – 7.00 pm School Years 3-6
Hardball
7.00 -8.00 pm School Years 4-8

With fully qualified ECB coaches
Cost is £40

For new attendees the first 2 weeks are free.

These sessions are supported by the Rye Fund and the Ted Baker Trust.

This season Rye Cricket Club will be offering teams at Under 9 / 2 x Under 11 / Under 13 / Under 16.

The Club offers a summer programme of games, coaching and a cricket camp, which is fun for all the family with an extensive range of facilities.
