As part of Rye’s cricket week on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday morning 34 young people aged 6-10 are enjoying a fun filled time playing cricket. The week has been enabled by an Inspired To Play grant from the ECB.
The aim is to encourage greater participation in cricket. Rye hopes to develop a girls team for next season.
On Friday evening the Rye Dynamos team host Robertsbridge at 5pm. At 6pm the All Stars and Dynamos will be playing inter-club matches. At 7pm there will be a presentation to the 40 plus participants. A bar and barbecue will be on offer to entertain parents.
