Last year, 2015 Polo Piatti, the world renowned composer from Hastings introduced ClassicUS Salon to Rye, an evening of classical music from new composers and performed on piano, violin and/or clarinet. It was to be a monthly occurrence.
His first couple of evenings were in the Vine House in Rye High Street, and it was so successful – musicians and visitors loved it – that the venue became too small for the number of people who wanted to attend. In January 2016 he checked out other venues in Rye but none seemed to be appropriate for what he had in mind and sadly he found the larger space needed in Hastings.
Polo said :”The next ClassicUS Salon to enjoy classical music and discussion will take place on Tuesday, April 16, at 6pm at the wonderful, elegant and inspiring premises of the Royal Victoria Hotel in Hastings.”
