Rye Area Business Forum is to welcome Councillor Sally Ann Hart, portfolio holder for tourism at Rother District Council, to talk about how she is helping to promote the town and is working with other districts to cross generate interest and business in the area.
The meeting will take place on Thursday, June 21, 6pm-7pm at The Mermaid Inn. There will also be an opportunity to talk with organisers of the Rye Festival of the Sea and Rye Christmas about how they, too, promote the town and to explore ways of businesses working together to support each other as well as an update on the town apprenticeship programme for business and young people.
The meeting is free to attend for all business people, freelancers, the self-employed and those interested in business. After the meeting there will be an opportunity to stay and network with others.
The Rye Area Business Forum is run completely by volunteers and welcomes feedback and ideas for future meetings.
