Improvements at the station

The passenger shelter at Rye after recent redecoration

Work has been taking place at Rye Station, paid for by the Minor Works and Station Improvement Fund. In Rye that means redecorating the shelter and improving access from the platforms to the town.

Louis Rambaud, Chief Customer Officer at GTR, which operates Southern said, “While these changes may seem modest on their own, it’s the little touches at our passengers’ local stations which will be noticed the most.”
