Home sweet home for Rye
Last Saturday September 17, in a match sponsored by Dom Cruttenden of Rye Heating, Rye Town FC played their first home game of the season as they entertained JC Tackleway at the Salts in the Macron East Sussex Football League Division One. Dan Lake reports

Cricket season ends with awards
Last Saturday 3 September saw Rye cricket clubs 1st Xl travel away to Hellingly hoping a win could lead to promotion whilst Hellingly needed a win to avoid relegation and the 2nd team hosted Hellingly 2nds at the Salts.
