Runners push the boundaries
On Sunday July12, runners started off on the near-marathon-length first Cranbrook to Rye cross-country relay. With navigational problems, fallen trees, giant nettles and a suspicious bull, the participants had plenty to think about on the way. Two of them give their first-hand accounts.
