Jempson’s will be playing host to a number of boot fairs again this year at its Peasmarsh store car park (pictured above), with all proceeds from the sale of pitches going to local good causes. Booters can buy their pitch on the day from £5 (which is donated to charity) and gates open at 7am. Rye Bonfire Society were the beneficiaries of the first event of the year over the Easter weekend, which saw more than 65 booters. Future dates and the beneficiaries:

- August 31: Rye Day Centre
