A two-day plein air art course is being held in May at Swallowtail Hill, one of the South East’s most diverse and beautiful wildflower meadow sites. Led by local artist-teacher Catherine Farr, the two days will move from preliminary sketching to a final sustained piece of work. All media welcome.

The course includes two full days’ teaching, two nights’  accommodation in one of our wonderful and secluded glamping cabins and cottages, and all meals.

Swallowtail Hill is a truly special place – 40 acres of wildflower meadow, ponds and woodland, run purely for conservation at Beckley, near Rye.

Course dates are from May 20 to 22. Prices start from £235pp for two people sharing a cabin, or £350 sole occupancy.

Call 01797 260 890 or visit www.swallowtailhill.com for more details and to book a place.
