Discover art on your doorstep by following one of a number of art trails as nine talented local artists invite you to visit their studios this month as part of the SEOS festival (South East Open Studios) which is one of the most established annual arts events in the South East with over 200 artists in East Sussex and Kent taking part.

And here (below) is an Art Trail of nine local artists (whom you can enjoy over a Friday – Sunday weekend on these dates in June – 4/5/6*, 11/12/13 and 18/19/20).

Check www.seos-art.org for the full list of participating artists and their opening days and times – and locations. Many will be demonstrating their work and some will be serving refreshments – and they are really looking forward to seeing you and are counting on your support. This particular trail includes artists from Northiam, Peasmarsh, Beckley and Robertsbridge – but you could invent your own trail from the full SEOS catalogue !

 Lorraine Singer (Ceramics) Robertsbridge,
 Caroline Anderson (Acrylic & Watercolour Painting) Newenden,
 Lisa Kossuth (Watercolour Painting) , Geri Cottingham (Oil Painting), Gabrielle Argent (Glass Sculpture) a nd Lauren-Charlotte Stapleton (Ceramics & Acrylic Painting) at Northiam
 Joanna Terry (Ceramics) and Deborah Lanyon (Abstract Acrylic Painting) at Beckley and
 Felicity Flutter (Watercolour Painting) at Peasmarsh (*not open on 4/5/6)

Our 2021 event is from June 4-20 and you can pick up an artists guide at Jempsons in Peasmarsh, and in pubs, cafes, galleries and shops. It is also online www.seos-art.org where you can also view work by the artists.

Our aim is to enable the art loving public to meet and support artists, shop local and engage with arts and crafts as an industry. Make sure you are following us @seopenstudios on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, follow the conversation on #SEOS2021 and we look forward to seeing you soon. If you are an artist and would like to join SEOS for 2022, please contact gabrielle@gmppr.com.
