Conservation Careers Panel at Rye Harbour Discovery Centre
Sussex Youth in Nature event for 14 to 25 year olds
Join us at the Rye Harbour Discovery Centre for a conservation careers panel event for 14-25 year olds. Thinking about what to do next after GCSES, A-levels, or University? Interested in working in conservation but don’t know where to start? Come along to this exciting panel event to get advice and tips on a variety of jobs within the sector. Our panellists include Rye Harbour site manager Paul Tinsley-Marshall, communities and wildlife leader Ryan Greaves and senior communities and wildlife officer Lucy Bowyer. The panel will be chaired by communities intern Mya Bambrick.
There will be an opportunity to put your questions to the panel during the event or send them in advance to myabambrick@sussexwt.org.uk Refreshments will be provided.
Between 10:30-12:30 there will be a Guided Young Naturalists Walk around part of the reserve prior to the careers panel, so you can discover the reserve and it’s wildlife whilst you’re there! Meet outside of the Discovery Centre at 10:30.
This is part of Sussex Youth in Nature, an events programme for young people from Sussex Wildlife Trust. These are free and accessible events and workshops for 16-25 year olds based at various locations across Sussex. They offer the opportunity to learn more about nature through craft, conservation, and species identification.
