Rother Voluntary Action – Supporting People Through Winter and Beyond
Would you like to know what support is available and what advice to offer someone struggling this winter?
This November, people working across health and social care in East Sussex are invited to special events to learn more about the range of services and support available across our communities. You’ll hear a series of short presentations and be able to visit a marketplace of local organisations and teams.
You’ll also have the chance to meet other people working across our local communities and get to know them over lunch!
The events are open to anyone working or volunteering in a role where they interact with local people, including health workers, emergency services, social care staff, and community organisations.
Citizens Advice is funding the events as part of their fuel poverty and energy efficiency programme and they are being organised in collaboration with East Sussex County Council and the Integrated Community Teams (ICTs) programme.
Living in a cold home can make health conditions worse as well as impact on people’s wellbeing, so it’s important to help people get support to stay warm and well.
