Winchelsea Cellar Tours

From April to October, we will once again be running our fascinating tours of Winchelsea’s famous medieval cellars.

Led by our knowledgeable volunteer guides each tour provides an insight into the history of the town, its role as a Cinque Port, and centre for medieval trade. Tours usually take place Saturday mornings at 11am and take around one and a half hours. The cost is just £12  per person, plus booking fee.

The money raised by FOAM is used to maintain, the Court Hall, the town’s three medieval gates, the well and the museum, which are all well worth visiting after your cellar tour.
