Sunday, May 22 was a bright sunny day, bringing 85 walkers from across Kent & Sussex to take part in a walk around Playden, Peasmarsh and back to Rye, enjoying some of the best views over the countryside. There were teams, families and individual walkers, who together with commercial sponsorship raised nearly £4,000.

Among the charities to benefit are Kent, Sussex and Surrey Air Ambulance, Friends of Ancient Monuments (Winchelsea), Rye Wurlitzer Academy, Saleability, British Association of Removers and Sensory Softplay.

We thank all our walkers, helpers and sponsors for their splendid support and look forward to seeing you next year.
