The show goes on

We are very excited to have already received dozens of unusually early entries for the 2021 show. Various lockdowns and restrictions seem to have enthused everyone with their gardening and baking skills this year and we are expecting a fabulous display of local goodies.

The schedule booklets are at various locations around the town including Adams, Bargain Box, Channon’s and The Pette Shoppe but the full schedule including the classes and an interactive entry form is also available on our website at ryeflowerandvegshow.co.uk  and it’s very easy to complete. You can contact us from the website too, if you have any queries.

  • Entry forms, digital and paper must be submitted by Friday, September 3 at 5pm (unfortunately, this year we cannot accept any further entries on the day).
  • The hall is open for checking in your entries from 8:30am until 12 noon. Please be patient if we get a flurry!
  • The judging takes place from 12 noon and the show will be open to the public from 2:15pm.
  • Prize giving by the mayor of Rye will be at 3:30pm.

Don’t be deterred by the competition, many first-time entries win prizes and we are a lovely, friendly and relaxed local show.  All entries are judged ‘blind’ and names only show if you win something!

We are really looking forward to welcoming participants old and new and, whilst we will have some restrictions in place (masks and distancing would be most appreciated), it will be great to get back to some kind of normal.

Check out your veggie and flower gardens, get out your cookery books, sort out your favourite photographs and pot plants and join us on the day.
