Thanks to popular demand, the many creative talents of Rye are gearing up for A Rye Good Window Wanderland 2021.
For the second year, displays in homes and businesses across the town will transform our streets into dazzling galleries to delight people as they stroll and shop. Set in the darkness of two winter evenings, this illuminated, magical, whole-town walking trail, can be explored and enjoyed free of charge by everyone.
You can expect live music, live art and performances on Saturday and Sunday December 11 and 12 from 6pm – 9pm, with late night shopping on Saturday, December 11.
It’s not too late to register a window. Whether simple or elaborate, every display adds to the festive spirit of hope we still cherish in dark days. Registrations for displays close this weekend, so get in quick to be included on the official map and trail, which will also feature on the new Rye town app.
There is no set theme, but this year’s participants are encouraged to think inventively about sustainability and being eco-friendly when creating their displays.
