On Monday September 11 Colin Baker, President of Rye and Winchelsea club held a short presentation to distribute money raised at our Spring Walk.

Sally Compton received £750.00 on behalf of Rye Winchelsea & District Memorial hospital and cheques have already been sent to Conquest Hospital MRI Scanner Appeal £1,000 and Rye and Peasmarsh Guides, Winchelsea Court Hall and other small donations.

The Rotary Charity Shield for most sponsorship raised by a team was presented to Ann Spencer and Lorna Challond on behalf of their team.

Finally there was a thank you to Noel Varley, a Rotarian with nearly 50 years membership who raised most individual sponsorship of over £400. Half of the money he raised went to the Scanner Appeal and Rye Community Transport.

Thanks to all who walked and our generous sponsors.
