Getting into the Internet

ROVTE (Rural Outreach Volunteer Training and Empowerment) is offering local people the chance to learn how to volunteer within their local community and gain an accredited qualification.
The group is part of the charity Fellowship of St Nicholas (FSN) which helps young people in the Hastings area.
Courses currently planned for the Rye area starting next term are:
City and Guilds Level 2 award Community project planning; Introductory level 1 Award Say it with Confidence; a series of three free workshops Getting into the internet; and an eight-week family learning course Looking after you for parents.
Additionally ROVTE offer a City and Guilds level 3 qualification Award in Education and Training for those wishing to volunteer within their community delivering short courses or workshops around their personal skills.
