Beckley Rangers Eagles player Lucas Zon carried on his fine start to the season at the weekend by grabbing another hat trick. He was helped up front by Tommy Ackerley also scoring a hat trick on his debut and return to Beckley Rangers. Sam Garner then came on for the second half and scored two well taken goals.

Olly Bunn kept the goals coming heading in from close range, then Oli Skinner scored from a tight angle cutting in from the wing. Chuka Mgbenwelu added number 11 for Beckley beating the offside trap to run onto a through ball from Ackerley. Josh Green rounded off the scoring by outpacing the defence to slot home number 12.

Despite the scoreline Beckley started the match slowly and with the scores level at 1-1 Beckley’s goalie, Nathan Pagdan, pulled of an amazing penalty save, diving to his right, and tipping the ball round the post to keep the score level. After that Rangers never looked back. Lankelma and McCartney Productions man of match was Lucas Zon.
