Rye Foodbank wishes to extend a heartfelt thanks to all individuals, churches, community groups and local businesses who have so generously supported us this year.

Your kindness has allowed us to continue providing essential help to families and individuals across Rye and the surrounding villages at a time when it seems the need has never been greater. Demand at present matches what it was during Covid.

Each week, our volunteers meet people who are facing incredibly difficult circumstances – rising living costs, insecure work, unexpected crises and the constant strain of trying to make ends meet. Thanks to your donations, we are able to offer an emergency food parcel and practical support through our partnership services with HARC, CAP and Rother Housing.

Our benefactors play a vital role in sustaining this work. Whether through financial contributions, food collections, fundraising events or quiet acts of generosity behind the scenes, every gift makes a direct and meaningful difference.

We are especially grateful for continued support from Jempson’s whose commitment helps us keep our shelves stocked and doors open. Rye Foodbank is entirely free of operational overheads due to the generosity of Rye Baptist Church so every penny donated is spent directly on supporting those in our community who are most in need.

Your generosity ensures that struggling families, older residents and people in crisis received not only food that they need – but also reassurance that their community cares.

On behalf of all our clients and volunteers thank you for standing with us. Your support strengthens the well-being of our whole community and helps ensure hope is never in short supply.

If you or anyone you know is in need of support please do contact us or come and visit. We are open every Wednesday from 12.00 until 2.00 pm. The foodbank phone number is 07526 349847; email ryefoodbank@gmail.com or visit the website here.
