It is with great pleasure that we can at last announce the reopening of the Rye Community Charity Shop. Under its new name of Rye Community Shop, the ethos of the shop remains the same; to help support local community and charitable groups within Rye and District whilst offering affordable goods for those on limited means.

The shop, located at 41 Cinque Ports Street (next to Reeds Raines), has within it a large Community Noticeboard for all local groups to publicise their events. It is free to all community groups and it is hoped that it will become as recognised as Adams window as a place to see “What’s On”.

There are many people that we have to thank for their support over the past few months, sadly too many to mention individually but we are so very grateful to everyone for their continued support. Our official opening is on Friday January 29 when our new patron, Amber Rudd MP will be helping us to celebrate the opening but, in the meantime, do pop in as we are open for business.
