On the evening of Friday October 24 and Saturday October 25 a chilling event will be held in Winchelsea Court Hall – Tales from the Court Hall- a series of sinister, strange, amusing and sometimes sad but true tales, all read by guest speakers.

It is a journey through 300 years covering those people that lived in Winchelsea and for different reasons found themselves “guests” of the 700-year-old Court Hall, which has been many things including a Court of Justice and gaol, and all set in a very atmospheric and historic building.

There are limited places and booking is essential. Ticket price is £15.00 per adult (includes a free drink on arrival). Doors open at 6.45pm and the first performance will commence at 7.15pm. There will be an interval with licensed bar, and the event will conclude no later than 9.00pm

Although we are approaching All Hallows Eve, these are not ghost stories, but may send a chill down your spine. Due to the nature of the content this event is not suitable for children. Admission by ticket only with booking now.

For bookings and enquiries please contact Peter Cosstick. email:winchelsea.tc@btinternet.com Tel 01797 229087

This is a charity fundraising event with all proceeds going to Winchelsea Corporation and Museum (Registered Charity Number: 1192506).
