Rye is bursting into bloom beneath a welcoming sweep of spring sunshine. Flowers unfurl across its gardens, blossom gathers in soft abundance and the town gently transforms into a canvas of colour, warmth and renewed life.

The town of Rye was bustling over the Easter weekend and many tourists commented on the spring-like feel and loved the blossom on the trees. A favourable winter followed by a calm sunlit spring has gifted Rye with an especially generous blossom this year especially in the churchyard at St Mary’s.
Trees like cherry, plum and apple need a proper cold spell to rest. This past winter gave them that without too many extremes causing shocks and so they have entered spring well, reset and ready to flower.
