Brede High Woods really is somewhere very special, but new drone footage shows its sheer size and scale from above.
It was filmed earlier this month by Stu Cooper from Clear Air Flying in Winchelsea.
The Woodland Trust which owns Brede High Woods describes it as “home to astonishingly rare wildlife, diverse habitats and long-forgotten iron works.”
The 647 acre site covers sandy heaths, ancient woodland, open grassland and the Powdermill Reservoir.
