Rye Art Gallery has opened their annual En Plein Air competition, calling on artists to submit work as part of an inspiring celebration of works painted outside in the open air.
There are two competition categories:
- For 16 to 24 years old – up to two works can be submitted costing £15 per entry
- 25 and over – up to two works can be submitted costing £25 per entry
Deadline for submissions is 17 July. The judges will be selecting a maximum of 100 artworks to be included in the exhibition which runs from 8 August until 6 September, with prizes for the winners.
