Enjoy a day of live music, food and entertainment at the Backyard Family Festival on Saturday 22 August, in support of local charity The Sara Lee Trust.
Taking place at Rye Waterworks Brewery, this free outdoor event will have live performances from local bands: Lizard, Freak Flag, Hairy Jack, Zircons and On Your Marks, alongside family fun and more.
Entry is free, with donations encouraged. All profits raised will support The Sara Lee Trust, which support hundreds of people every year across Hastings and Rother who have been diagnosed with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. The charity provides a place for them to relax and reflect, offering free counselling, complementary therapies and group activities.
The festival runs from 12.30pm until 8.30pm at Rye Waterworks Brewery, Rye Road, Playden, TN31 7UL.
To make travelling to the festival easier, The Rye Chauffeur is generously providing free shuttle transfers from outside the Rye Waterworks Micropub (Tower Street, Rye, TN31 7AT) during the following times:
12.30pm to 1.30pm
5.00pm to 6.00pm
Return journeys after 6.00pm will be available for a fee, with festival-goers receiving a 10% discount.
